In my movie watching I have developed tastes for many different kinds of movies.  Sone of these movies are truly fantastic, others are bad but in a fun way.  These are guilty pleasures. 

     Two of these guilty pleasures have recently played on the big screen and I was proudly front and center to watch them.  In June 208’s Twilight followed by the first sequel TheTwilight Saga; New Moon just this past weekend.  

     Yes you read that correctly I enjoy the a twilight  cinematic franchise. I have not read the books nor do I intend to do so.  I do not want my image of the films skewered by reading the source material. 

     Both films lit up the screen to crowds that simply had fun watching them. These movies are nit going to tell you anything about life expect maybe how to be sparkly. 

   In rewatching New Moon I had forgotten a lot of the movie.  Seeing it on the big screen was a renewed pleasure.   Thinking about it I remember a fair bit of the fourth and fifth films but I do not remember anything about the third franchise entry, Eclipse.  In time I will pull the dvd out of the shadows for a rewatch.
