Storyline: Based on the unbelievable, inspiring true story of a team of underdogs – a struggling, working-class gamer, a failed former race car driver, and an idealistic motorsport exec – who risk it all to take on the most elite sport in the world.

      The summer season is winding down and I am wanting to squeeze in that final blockbuster of the season.  Gran Turismo checked that box for me!

     Was this one of the greatest movies ever? It wasn’t even one of the greatest movies this summer.  That did not stop me from sitting back and enjoying the 135 minute runtime. This movie was a fun ride.

   I loved Director Neill Blomkamp’s debut film District 9 and I have enjoyed his other features. While this was not the caliber   Of his magnificent debut film it was still excitibg to see on the silver screen.  The excitement of the car races, the sounds of the race cars, and Orlando Bloom’s bad accent added up to a fun cinematic thrill ride.
