STORYLINE: A creative writing assignment yields complex results between a teacher and his talented student.

     Movies can be challenging angels engaging making for a powerful film.  That is what I think Miller’s Girl was aiming to be.  The movie ended up being uncomfortable and, at times, unpleasant to watch. 

     All of witch is disappointing. I enjoy both of the lead performers, Martin Freeman (2005’s The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy) and Jenna Ortega of television’s Wednesday.  The trailer also gave me the impression of a gothic thriller, I should of paid more attention.  Would that of stopped me from seeing the film? No.  It may of prepared me more for what I was going to watch. I do not think it would of changed my mind on how poorly I thought of the movie.
