   Fourteen years age who would of guessed a film about a villain and his yellow side kicks would be a successful franchise? Who would of guessed it would continue to be this much fun?  I will give you a big hint.  Not me,

    After two spin off films featuring the lovea LE and always entertaining  yellow sidekicks, the minions the franchise returns to its roots with Despicable Me 4.  Like others in the kid friendly series it balances age appropriate humor with just the right amount of suspense not to scare the target audience.  That engaging balance, with the addiction of the fan favorite minions, is what continues to make this films formula work. 

    The animation is pretty standard. It is not the hand drawn beauty that was The Boy and the Heron nor the eye popping Spider Man Acriss the Spiderverse but not everything will be.  As long as isthe visual animation is not sub par I will not complain and I am not going to compaon about the visuals either this film.

   In the end I sat back and simply enjoyed myself at the movies.
