STORYLINE: Nothing is what it seems when a twisted one-night stand spirals into a serial killer’s vicious murder spree. (IMDb)

     I did not know of Strange Darling until I saw it list of show times playing at local cinemas.  Naturally I read the synopsis and watched the trailer.  I was immediately intrigued.  I was captured by the erotic thrills the trailer had in it. 

   AS strange Darkine progressed I was drawn quickly unto the Tarantino style structure and violence crafted by the story.  This worked beautifully in crafting the thrills.  

    What makes this film particularly intriguing is the serial killer is a woman. The majority of serial killer movies feature men as the killers. Very few come to mind.  Ma (which is awful), Setiak Mom, Orphan & it’s prequel, and  Monster featuring Charlize Theron in her Academy Award winning performance mainly come to kind.  

   For a random movie I knew nothing about I am glad I took a chance on seeing. It was thrilling to watch.
