STORYLINE: Bill Goldberg plays the devil’s son who lost a wager with an angel and was forced to spend 1000 years playing Santa, but now the wager of that time has run out, and good old Santa isn’t so joyful anymore. He makes up for lost time and starts to kill people. (IMDb)
Before I get into the blog I must acknowledge an inside joke of all the misspellings in my review of The Ultimate Christmas Present. I half assed proof reading it, have been called out on it, and rightfully so will never hear the end of it. Clearly I had issues with my spelling and will be relentlessly teased by tghose who watched the movie with, and ONLY those who watched the movie with me. Moving on.
Tonight’s fine feature in the line of bad Christmas movies that are fun at movie night was the 2005 release Santa’s Slay. The premise features Santa going on a killing spree after a thousand years of having to be nice. This comes after losing a bet.
Ok there’s really not a whole lot to this movie. It just a fun slasher B rated slasher flick. It’s meant to be watched and enjoyed in the company of friends. Which is exactly what this evening was about. Can I really ask for anything more from this movie? Hell no!
Watching this movie was circumstance, as all movies are. Had I been doing so alone I would of been bored with it and this would of been a completely different Willflix entry. Instead I was teased about my misspellings from last weeks feature and got to hang out with some really cool people. Tell me how would you rather watch a cheesy slasher film?
Ok how did I do with my spelling?
Until next yo,e o Will c you at the movies!
