    Not every movie has to tell you the meaning of life.  Not every movie has to be epic.  Not every movie has to be five stars.  Some movies can just be mindless and fun.  

    The first two feature films in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise hit that mark.  That is where I set my expectation for the threequel.  That’s exactly where Sonic the Hedgehog 3 landed. 

    With a predictable story in place I sat back and just enjoyed myself. The film was filled with corny dialogue, which regular  readers of Willflix will know I throughly enjoy.  The effects were bad, adding to the fun of the feature. 

     What really put this film into the fun territory was Jim Carrey. He gave not one but two performances. Both were equally over the top.

   Of course the film set up a fourth and I am not ashamed to say I am eager to see it when it arrives in theaters.
