   There have been sexual themed films o have enjoyed (Sanctuary – 2023, Eyes Wide Shut – 1999) and others that were not stimulating (The Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy, Wild Things – 1998).  So recently I sat down to watch the Nicole Kidman sexual thriller Babygirl with much hesitation. 

   That hesitation was more then well deserved.  Babygirl was just simply a bad movie.  The one exception was a scene at the end where Nicole Kidman goes alpha on someone who is attempting to blackmail her.

    What it boils down to is Babygirl is a bad Fifty Shades of Grey knock off.  That is not to be taken as a compliment. 

    Oh well, not every film is a winner.
