STORYLINE: A family at a remote farmhouse is attacked by an unseen animal, but as the night stretches on, the father begins to transform into something unrecognizable. (IMDb)
I like creature features. They tend to be the kind of film that I can sit back, not have to worry about paying much attention to what is going on, and just enjoy myself. That was my hope when I purchased my ticket yo see 2025’s Wolf Man.
When the end credits rolled ending the 103 minute movie, I had nothing but fun watching Wolf Man. It was mindless entertainment and that was exactly what I wanted. It’s not the kind of film that will be winning awards, let alone considered for them. Not every film I watch has to be that caliber of film. (I enjoy both types of films).
How does this compare to the creature features from yesteryear, such as the original Piranha or Grizzly, that I love? Wolf Man is in the minor leagues compared to those fine flicks but still very enjoyable. Much like The Meg or Sharknado and, what seems like, its endless supply of sequels.
Until next time I will see you at the movies!
