I stated in a recent entry that enjoying movies that don’t teach you the meaning of life and that is ok. To rephrase they all don’t have to be masterpieces of cinema. You know what, I enjoy all kinds of movies. (I dislike movies as well. I have posted negative comments here also). Flight Risk, the new feature starting Mark Walberg, is one of t house kind of movies. It’s king stupid fun to watch, at least for me.
Ok this film is predictable but this kind of movie is a dime a dozen. The dialpgue gets to be repetitive but I refer you to the previous sentence. Mark Walberg’s accent is a train wreck, yet I kept wanting to see what happened next.
Why? I enjoy this kind of cheap mindless, cookie cutter thriller. From the moment it started I knew where it was going, how it was going to end, and all the twists and turns. All I had to do was sit back, sip on my soda of choice, throw back handfuls of popcorn, and enjoy myself. I did just that! Watching the ninety one minutes of Flight Risk I did just that.
Until next time I will see you at the movies!
