   Much like the comedy genre, horror is easily be broken down many into sub genres. One of them is the slasher film.  One week before the romance of Valentine’s Day comes the love inspired slasher film Heart Eyes.

    Heart Eyes combined the stupidy of a rom com with the cheese of a slasher film.  In the process it sprinkled in a variety of one liners that will make the viewer groan.  Of course this combination worked for me!  The film was mindless fun.  

    I do understand everyone has different tastes in what they see and enjoy.  I am not a fan of Julia Roberts, for instance. So there will be readers who, Heart Eyes, will not be their kind of movie.  For others it will be. For those whose subjective point of view that enjoys slasher films I am repeating myself and saying I had a lot of fun when I watched this movie. Yes I had heart eyes first this film.
