   There are sone really great movies about deep sea divers. The Abyss tops that list.  Last Breath, which is inspired by true events, is the latest underwater thriller.

    Like other deep sea diver movies Last Breath grabbed my attention and for the approximate hour and a half runtime held it.  The film had intense moments built into the story.  

    What bothered me was there were moments were the music overwhelmed the talented actors, creating artificial emotional moments.  Let the talented actors, including Woody Harrelson, do the job, they were hired to do.    These are the kind of moments that continue to complain about in film.  I feel that they are insulting to my intelligence. 

    Again Last Breath is a true story.  The problem with true stories is thete is an obvious end game. The great ones get there well.  Last Breath felt like it set itself up well for the story but did not have the follow through to get to the end for that true endgame.
