     Fantasy films can be fun and over the top (Wicked – 2024),  they can be series ( The Shape of Water – 2017) and there is some I do not like (The Green Knight – 2021).  2025’s In the Lost Lands is complete fun and over the top.  Imagine an R rated Dungeons and Dragons mixed with True Grit and Mad Max: Fury Road.

    The film features everything I wanted in a fantasy flick. There were fantasy creatures, in this case they were witches and werewolves. Also there over the top action sequences, a ridiculous storyline, and bad acting that I could not help but love.  Thank you Twilight for setting that standard.  With In the Lost Lands I got to see that in an R rated fantasy feature.

    This film falls in to a category I call it’s so bad it’s fun.  You clearly can miss part of this feature abd bit miss plot.  

    Still it was a blast and a half for me to watch.
