   Fair warning I am going to be bias but this is my blog and since this is my blog I am ok with that fact. Now with that out of the way lets look into the Black Bag.

    The film sits at the crossroads of two of my favorite parts of cinema. The first street in that crossroad is spy films are my favorite genre of films.  The second street in that crossroads is that the film stars Cate Blanchett.  She is one of my two favorite actresses working on film today. Side note the other is Jessica Chastain.  In addition to being an incredible film these facts added together is why Zero Dark Thirty is one of my all time favorite movies. 

    Anyways back to Black Bag.  When movies utilize a slow burn as a technique well I love it. In Black Bag it works brilliantly and as it should in espionage films. 

    The film does have a few twists and turns. They are predictable. I shouldn’t be ok with that as I am but I am.  There are other films with twists and turns that are better.  That did not stop my enjoyment of Black Bag.

    Cate Blanchett was great in role. Again I am bias. Setting aside that bias she plated well with Micheal Fassbender. He was as emotionless in his performance. He was suppose to be.  

    This spy thriller was not action packed like a 007 film.  It more suspenseful like Zero Dark Thirty.

   Was I bias? I tried not to be but I think I was,
