    Whistle while I write. I am going to whistle while I write. No I am not. It is incredibly districting. However it will be stuck in my head. 

     I am a child of the nineties. My nostalgia for the classic animation is rooted in the box style style vhs.    I grew watching the classics that are now being remade as live action features for a new generation of moviegoers. The latest to receive such treatment is Snow White.

   Snow White, like many of its preceding live action remakes, is a big spectacle I will watch once and will only watch once. The exception to this have been Maleficent (2014)  and 2023’s The Little Mermaid (the irony being this was the animated classic I did not enjoy as a child).

   The live action Snow White carried forward all the fab favorites from the cartoon.  This is to be expected.

   The highlight of the film was Gal Gadot as the evil queen. I did enjoy her lavish musical number. It was fun seeing her 180 as Wonder Woman.

    Maybe Disney will wow me with Lilo and Stitch this summer. Regardless there is a Pixar release this year and they are normally reliable.
