     What a diverse and interesting list of films is featured on that list.  All of those films are directed by Academy Award winner Kathryn Bigelow.  Her new film A House of Dynamite, starring Rebecca Fegussan and Idris Elba, has been released. 

    Much like The Hurt Locker, A House of Dynamite creates a real world scenario as its plot.  With in that real world scenario A House of Dynamite becomes an edge of your seat thriller.

   The reason the film is an edge of your seat thriller, is how real the events in the film could become reality.  It’s scary, not in a horror movie kind of way, but because it could happen. Contagion (2011) was the same, pre-pandemic.

   My problem with the film is it is a Netflix Production.  Netflix tends to have a very limited theatrical run, if one at all.  Luckily, A House of Dynamite is one of those films that Netflix is giving some playtime in theaters. 

   Kathryn Bigelow created an intense real life thriller with her latest film.
