NIRVANA THE BAND – THE SHOW – THE MOVIE (2026)

STORYLINE: When their plan to book a show at the Rivoli goes horribly wrong, Matt and Jay accidentally travel back to the year 2008. (IMDb)

Rock N’ Roll features transcends the basic  documentaries and the traditional biopic.  The Blues Brothers (1980) is the rockin’ movie that is just that kind of movie.  Continuing the trend, of fictional films about rock bands, 1984’s This is Spinal Tap, rocked it all the way to eleven.  The new millennium even had its releases with titles like Almost Famous (2000) and School of Rock (2003).  Nirvana The Band – The Show – The Movie is now rocking the cinematic, and comedic scene.

In this rock comedy, the fictional band concept is combined with time travel.  When it comes to it it is This is Spinal Tap combined with Back to the Future (1985).  In fact, Nirvana The Band – The Show – The Movie, makes fun of being Back to the Future, at one point.

Nirvana The Band – The Show – The Movie is a comedy filled with screwball antics, from start to finish.  Not all land, but the that is true for any screwball comedy.  When the antics land, which is the majority of the time, the film is mindless fun.  It’s a popcorn flick in that way.  It doesn’t try to be anything else.

Nirvana The Band – The Show – The Movie is a fun rock n’ roll, time travel, screwball comedy.

Until next time I will see you at the movies, and rock on!
