    Independent cinema is the spice in the melting pot of film!  My home state of Nirth Carolina alone has produced some excellent Indy films, over the years.  Jubebug (2005), George Washington (2000), and Goodbye Solo (2008) to name a few.  The new horror feature Paranormal Investigations is an Indy horror film from NC.

   Paranormal Investigations sets its story in the outer banks.  To be more specific about the film it is a found footage, horror comedy, haunted house motion picture.  That is a mouthful.  

   The movie is filled with a variety of characters. All of which are stereotypes. You have the self absorbed celebrity, the local southern, and the TV producer, boss among other characters that all play well together.  The film would not work with out this combination of people. 

   Yes there are better found footage films available to watch.  Yes there are better horror comedies, and haunted houses features to view.  Paranormal Investigations is the kind of movie you can sit back, and just enjoy.
