   When the lights go down, there’s a bit of fun in scary cinena. This argument is based upon the viewer being into horror films. With that in mind, Army of Darkness (1992),  The Cabin in the Woods (2011), and Anaconda (1997/2025) are all particularly fun to watch.  The 2019 Ready or Not horror feature, which was a blast to watch, has a sequel, Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, is out now.

    There is a tradition of sequels being a carbon copy of the original feature, with higher steaks.  Ready or Not 2: Here I Come continues the sequel tradition.  The story is pretty much the same, just bigger.  The spirit that made the first film fun to watch carried forward to this horror sequel.

   The film isn’t a psychological horror film.  It is more of a jump scare kind of scary movie.  Ready or Not 2: Here I Come has its share of blood and guts. The blood and guts are, very much, a secondary thought in the movie. The point is they are there to support the story. It’s the way it should be. 

   Ready or Not 2: Here I Come is popcorn flick.  It’s a fun horror flick, to watch.
