     Earlier this year Nirvana:The Band-The Show-The Movie had me laughing out loud, with its mindless since of humor. The romantic comedy You, Me, & Tuscany throughly entertained me.  The girls in Prada kicked the summer season off, with a devilishly, entertaining, sequel, to a guilty pleasure of mine, The Devil Wears Prada 2.  The sheep were on the case in The Sheep Detectives, which is comedic fun for the whole family. Now comes Gail Daughtry and the Celebrity Sex Pass, the newest 2026 comedy, to have cinema goers laughing in their seats. 

    The premise in this comedy is, well, ridiculous.  It’s about the fantasy of having sex with a celebrity, and a free pass cheat on your partner, to live out that fantasy, given the opportunity. After her fiancé has his chance, Gail Daughtry, upset, with him, goes on a mission to do the same.  Along the way, in an unrelated storyline, she gets unknowingly caught up in the criminal financial in the world.  Sprinkled throughout are multiple celebrity cameos. Like I said ridiculous.

     The humor in Gail Daughtry and the Celebrity Sex Pass is crude.  Given the plot of the movie that makes perfect sense.  Blended in is a sense of over the top slapstick humor.  For 94 minutes the film pulls out the stops, and is unapologetically ridiculous.

    I enjoyed mindlessly eating my butter saturated popcorn, sipping my oversized soda, and laughing at the one, two punch of slapstick, and raunchy humor that the film provided.  I like having thoughtless comedies in my viewing rotation, with the big summer blockbusters and thought provoking dramas.  

    Gail Daughtry and the Celebrity Sex Pass is a mindless comedy that combines raunchy comedy with my personal favorite slapstick humor.
