To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything Julie Newmar (1995), In & Out (1997), and The Birdcage (1996) all LGBTQ comedies. Joining them is the new motion picture Stop! That! Train!
Stop! That! Train!, much like the classic 1980 comedy Airplane! is a disaster comedy. The disaster, in this 2026 release, is a a
train, getting caught in a storm. Of course, things go horriblu wrong, and the day needs saving. Hilarity ensues.
The comedy in Stop! That! Train! was there. It worked, a fair amount of the time. The gags became repetitive, to point of over usage. Luckily, the comedy clocked in at ninety minutes, so those over used repetitive jokes ended shortly.
The premise was fun, despite being predictable. It was simple. That’s all.
Stop! That! Train! has a simple and predictable plot, with humor that started fine, then was over used.
Until next time, I will see you at the movies!
